2 cups whole wheat flour
1-1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup apple sauce
4 (or 3) ripe bananas
1 tbsp chia seeds
1/4 cup water
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 to 1 cup ground walnuts

Preparation
- Preheat over to 350 degrees
- Mix flour and baking soda in a bowl
- In a large bowl, stir maple syrup and apple sauce together, then add bananas and mash them (potato masher works good). Stir in he water and vanilla and mix well. Add the flour mixture with the chopped nuts and stir to mix.
- Spread in a nonstick or lightly sprayed oil-sprayed 9 inch square baking pan.
- Bake for 50 minutes.
